Yes! This is one that got away from the manufacturer. It's said that the boat was built for a racer that never got to race it. She was then sold and has been used for recreational boating since. It's also said that of this particular hull, there were no more than 6 and no less than 4 made, which makes her a very rare boat indeed. She's basically had two owners and has only been used in freshwater. Revenge boats are well known for their light weight, racing, hand shaped hulls that go really really fast. This Beauty is no different. Made from several composite materials, the hull only weighs 375 pounds by itself. Toss the Chevy Big Block 396, bored .30 over into the mix and you have a 425 hp water rocket. She'll do a reported 100 mph. And you need all your senses to drive her that fast. She's Spartan as boats go in amenities, but then again she was built for racing. When Southern Thunder Racing out of South Carolina restored her in 2012, they built her right. And they added in the nice wood grain floor to make her a little more luxurious. This boat is not for the faint of heart. She's a go fast boat, pure and simple. Put the Casale 18 gear V-drive into go, step on the hot shot foot pedal to accelerate and hold on. She has a foot operated cavitation plate to keep you on plane. The Revenge's hand shaped hull is designed to catch air underneath her, so higher speeds are possible.This listing has now been on the market a couple months. This Revenge is in Beautiful condition and runs very well. The Seller started the boat while the photos were being taken and it started immediately and ran smooth. The hull is immaculate.
Special care must be taken with this hull as it's not a regular hull and needs special consideration. The very few hours on the boat means it doesn't get a ton of use, so she's kept in very good condition.
In 2014, the Casale V-Drive was rebuilt with all new internal parts, by Casale. Only approx. 1 hour of use has been put on the factory rebuilt drive.
The seller plans to have the tachometer rebuilt by Jones in the near future. The only little blemish in the boat is that the seats have a couple spots that may need to be patched or re-stitched.
